What Youll Do
  • Provide targeted, specialized academic instruction to students with learning differences and special needs in elementary or middle school settings
  • Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring services align with each students IEP goals and timelines
  • Lead IEP meetings, write compliant IEPs, and collaborate with service providers, parents, and district teams
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments to track progress and drive instructional planning
  • Adapt and modify curriculum to support student learning and inclusion across co-teaching, push-in, pull-out, and one-to-one models
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, evaluations, and service logs
  • Partner with general education teachers to create differentiated instruction and promote meaningful inclusion
What Were Looking For
Required:
  • Active California Education Specialist and/or Special Education Teaching Credential (CTC)
  • Availability for in-person services in Richmond, CA
  • Strong knowledge of Special Education law, policy, and instructional best practices
Preferred:
  • 1+ years of Special Education teaching experience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, student-centered approach
  • Tech-savvy with strong organizational skills
