East Veterans Elementary School is seeking a Special Education teacher for our substantially separate early elementary district program. This specialized program is designed to serve students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a supportive and inclusive environment. The program provides intensive, individualized instruction and support while also offering flexible opportunities for students to participate in general education classrooms alongside their typically developing peers. Our primary goal is to equip students with the social-emotional skills, coping strategies, and academic foundation necessary to navigate their emotions effectively, build positive relationships, and achieve academic success, ultimately enabling them to reintegrate into less restrictive educational settings as appropriate.
