Duty Days Per Year: 108

Hours Per Day: 3.75-7.5 hours a day, depending on the day. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday morning; Thursday all day, including evening hours one time a week.

Type of Position: ECFE Teacher

Salary: $48,166 - $89,645 (1,488 hours) per Teachers Work Agreement

Supervisor of Position: Jennifer Dupre

Qualifications: Early Childhood license; experience and/or training in working with young children under age 5 in an educational setting; ability to sit on floor with students and lift 25 pounds.

Summary of Duties: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and experiences for parents and their children to engage in academically, socially and in emotionally appropriate ways. Teaches and conducts classroom routines. Leads parent/child interactions, works with children 1:1 modifying activities based upon child's age and abilities. Leads large group and circle time activities with parents and children. Serves as a role model for parents and children on effective adult/child interactions. Sets up a safe and appealing environment in which to learn.
