The Teacher Assistant works in early education classrooms serving children between the ages of 0-5. This person may float from room to room as needed for support. This person assists the teacher with caregiving routines, activities, supervising groups of children indoors and outdoors as well as light housekeeping duties such as serving or cleaning after meals. Minimum Qualifications HS Diploma Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 6 months experience working with young children in a licensed setting Tenure Status
