A typical day looks like:
Hours from 12:00-6:00 PM or 3:00-6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a .5-hour paid break daily. Some flexibility with hours if needed! Assisting the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing activities that meet the children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs. Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate program in accordance with all relevant childcare policies, procedures, and regulations. Establish positive relationships and communicate effectively with children, staff, administration, parents, and members of the community. Conduct light cleaning duties such as gathering trash, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, sanitizing toys and table tops, and other general duties.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required. Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred. Experience with children or in childcare preferred. Must be able to lift, hold, or carry up to 35 pounds and routinely move furniture and equipment. Infant and Child CPR/First Aid certificate preferred. Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills required. Ability to be flexible with classroom assignment and work hours. A friendly, outgoing, positive personality is a MUST!

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
