This opportunity involves providing specialized early childhood education to young learners aged 3 to 5 within an inclusive classroom setting. The role includes managing a caseload of approximately 17 students, supported by two paraprofessionals, ensuring individualized attention and quality instruction. Teachers will implement pre-designed curriculum and utilize the Learning Experiences Alternative Program (LEAP) to foster developmental and educational growth.
Qualifications:
Valid Oregon State License with a Special Education PK-12 Endorsement.
Experience writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Ability to collaborate effectively with related services personnel.
Familiarity with Individual Family Support Plans (IFSP) is preferred.
Comfort working within an early childhood school environment.

Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 3-5.
Develop, initiate, and monitor IEPs for students in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related services staff to provide comprehensive support.
Utilize the LEAP curriculum and implement school-provided lesson plans.
Maintain daily schedules and classroom management from 7:20 AM to 2:50 PM, Monday through Friday.
Engage families and support the holistic development of each student.
