Early Childhood Music Teacher - Vivaldi Music Academy
Position Overview: Vivaldi Music Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Music Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on nurturing young minds through the joy of music, creating foundational musical experiences for children ages 6 months to 5 years. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, patience, and expertise in early childhood development to foster a love of music in our youngest students.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement age-appropriate music curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Lead engaging group classes that incorporate singing, movement, rhythm, and basic instrument exploration.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that encourages musical exploration.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support musical development at home.
Assess and document each child's musical growth and developmental milestones.
Maintain detailed class records and communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress.
Participate in academy events, recitals, and community outreach programs.
Stay current with early childhood music education best practices and methodologies.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching music to young children.
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Proficiency in piano/keyboard and ability to play and sing simultaneously.
Experience with popular early childhood music methodologies (Kodály, Orff, Dalcroze, or Music Together)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, enthusiasm, and genuine love for working with young children.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Music Education or Early Childhood Education.
Certification in specialized early childhood music programs.
Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish preferred)
Experience working with children with special needs.
Background in child psychology or development.
