Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Lead Teacher (2nd Shift Program) to join our dynamic team at Dream Preparatory Academy, INC. Duties

Instruction and Curriculum Development:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Utilize creative teaching methods and resources to engage children and support their learning needs.
Classroom Management:
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and respect.
  • Maintain effective classroom discipline and manage behavior in a constructive manner.
Child Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
  • Assess and document each child’s developmental progress and learning achievements.
  • Develop individualized plans to support children with diverse learning needs and abilities.
Parent and Guardian Communication:
  • Foster strong partnerships with parents and guardians through regular communication and updates on their child's progress.
  • Address any concerns or questions from families in a professional and supportive manner.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Work closely with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and ensure a cohesive educational approach.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
Health and Safety:
  • Ensure the classroom and play areas are safe, clean, and organized.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Required to have minimum High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferable.
  • State teaching certification or equivalent, if applicable.
  • Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Work coverage, based on the academy's 2nd shift schedule requirement that starts from 2:30PM to 11:30PM.
