Role: Drama Teacher Location: Wickford Pay Rate: £120 – £230 per day Start Date: September 2025 Inspire Expression and Confidence as a Drama Teacher – Wickford GSL Education is recruiting creative and energetic Drama Teachers for secondary schools in Wickford . This is a brilliant opportunity to engage students in performance, storytelling, and collaborative learning in a lively classroom setting. In This Role, You Will: • Deliver high-quality Drama lessons that encourage student participation and creativity • Prepare students for school productions and performance assessments • Create an inclusive classroom environment for all learners • Support cross-curricular initiatives that involve communication and presentation skills • Promote self-confidence, empathy, and critical thinking Requirements for the Role: • QTS/QTLS and experience teaching Drama at secondary level • Passion for the performing arts and inspiring young people • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
