Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
Utilize specialized instructional strategies and assistive technology to enhance learning and communication

Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
Participate in school meetings, assessments, and professional development sessions related to Deaf education
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification or licensure in teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
Experience working with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
Strong understanding of American Sign Language (ASL) is highly desirable
Ability to adapt lesson plans to different learning styles and communication needs
Excellent communication and collaboration skills within an educational team
