An opportunity is available for a dedicated educator specializing in serving students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing within a K-12 school environment. This contract position spans the 2025/2026 school year, providing direct, in-person support to a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students. The role requires an itinerant approach, traveling across multiple campuses to deliver specialized instruction and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the unique hearing and communication needs of each student.
Provide direct instruction and support, fostering academic and social growth.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure inclusive and effective learning environments.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with applicable educational standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification or licensure in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education or related endorsement.
Experience working with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Ability to manage a caseload of students and navigate itinerant service delivery.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Commitment to in-person instruction and flexibility in travel across campuses.
Willingness to work a 35-hour week; part-time candidates will also be considered.

Schedule: Full-time (35 hours per week) with part-time opportunities available
Duration: Contract for the 2025/2026 school year
