We’re currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time position serving students across multiple grade levels for the 2025–2026 academic year.

In this vital role, you’ll support students who are deaf or hard of hearing by providing targeted instruction tailored to their language, communication, and academic needs. You’ll develop and deliver individualized plans that may include American Sign Language (ASL), oral communication approaches, and assistive listening technology—adapting strategies to ensure every student can access curriculum and engage fully in the classroom.

Collaboration is central to this position. You’ll work closely with general education teachers, service providers, and families to foster supportive learning environments that promote student growth and independence.

Requirements Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a closely related discipline, along with a valid Georgia teaching certificate that includes an endorsement for Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is strongly preferred, as it significantly enhances instructional effectiveness and student engagement. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting students with hearing impairments in academic settings and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities to help build an inclusive, collaborative learning environment.
