Contract Dates: August 5, 2025 November 7, 2025 (May extend into December)
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week | 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Setting: Onsite only Monarch PK-8
Caseload: 710 students, Grades PK8
Pay Range: $45 $50 per hour
School Year: 20252026
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in an onsite setting
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
Collaborate with general and special education staff, speech-language pathologists, and families to support student success
Utilize appropriate communication methods (ASL, SEE, Total Communication) as needed per student
Monitor and document student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Support students across academic, social, and communication needs within the school environment
Requirements:
Hold a valid Colorado Teaching License or have documentation of an application in process
Must have an endorsement in Special Education Specialist: Deaf and Hard of Hearing or an equivalent
Must be able to provide current license or in process documentation with application
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in multiple sign systems (ASL, SEE, Total Communication)
