About the Role:We are seeking a highly qualified Daycare Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our team at the St. Clair location. As the Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children. You will work closely with other teachers and staff to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for all children.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years experience working with children in a licensed childcare center or comparable settingCPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hireAbility to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background CheckExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with other staff members and parentsPreferred Qualifications:Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1+ years experience Current CPR and First Aid certificationResponsibilities:Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all childrenCreate and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environmentCommunicate regularly with parents and families about their child's progressSupervise and support assistant teachers and aidesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and developmentSkills:As the Daycare Teacher, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, families, and staff. Additionally, you will need to have a deep understanding of child development and be able to apply that knowledge to create a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
