Qualifications and Experience

: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or the international equivalent in a related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Promotes an inclusive environment that values, encourages, and supports differences, and articulates an authentic commitment to diversity in thought and perspective while holding others accountable for the same. Possess a passion for learning. Ability to track attendance and participate in the advisory program while meeting professional standards. Ability to execute lesson plans and successfully instruct students. Ability to effectively communicate with others. Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to students’ various learning needs. Knowledge of appropriate learning psychology, styles, and strategies. Strong public speaking and oral presentation skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Leadership skills and patience for working with students of all ages. Must pass a Jessica Lunsford Level II background check and drug test.
