DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board’s strategic plan. Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment. Weekly meetings with MCL* to determine focus for the week. Analyze grade level data from formative and summative assessments. Participate in weekly grade level(content area) meetings/PLC meetings Reflect with MCL* from performed classroom observations. Submit lesson plans to MCL*. Lead small group/intervention lessons Create and maintain a safe learning environment. Participate in student goal setting as well as their own goal setting. Support first level of behavior intervention with students in their own classroom. Uses a variety of explanations and multiple representations of concepts that capture key ideas to help students develop conceptual understanding. Proactively communicate with parents and other stakeholders Provide differentiated instruction to students in all content area.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Must be in the final year of an accredited teacher prep program

Must have the ability to connect to a diverse student population.

WORKING CONDITIONS:  Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
