This position focuses on behavior management and personalized support designed to empower students to succeed academically and personally. Responsibilities: Deliver targeted instruction tailored to individual IEP goals Utilize trauma-informed approaches to foster a positive and safe learning atmosphere Manage classroom behavior with consistency and compassion Collaborate with school counselors, mental health staff, and families to support student growth Lead progress monitoring and participate in IEP team meetings Encourage social-emotional learning alongside academic development Qualifications: Connecticut Teaching Certification with endorsements 065, 165, or 265 (required) Experience working with students with behavioral or emotional needs Skilled in trauma-informed care and behavioral intervention techniques Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Work With Us?
