Title Classroom Teacher (K-5)

Description Franklin County's top college-preparatory school is hiring! We are seeking a K-5 Classroom Teacher (grade level to be determined by applicant strengths) to join our team! All K-5 grade levels utilize the Direct Instruction method.

Our recent Nationally Standardized Test Results (ACT & ITBS) indicate our school is in the top 5% of schools. Our parents and teachers value education, expect excellence, and do not tolerate the nonsense that is occurring in many schools.

Requirements Required: • Bachelor's or Master's Degree • Classroom experience • Exemplary classroom management skills • Exemplary ability to engage students and foster a love of learning • High energy and enthusiasm for teaching • Willingness to receive coaching and constructive feedback (This cannot be emphasized enough)

Preferred: • Direct Instruction classroom experience • Current NC Licensure (A minimum of 50% of teachers must be licensed in a Charter School)
