Required Qualifications:

Meet licensing/program requirements for a background check, fingerprinting, and other program clearances CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Must obtain Basic First Aid and CPR Certification Experience working with preschool children 1-2 years working with early childhood aged children Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills: Primary responsibilities under daily supervision of the childcare director include daily teaching and supervision of children, daily supervision of childcare staff Three semester hours in Infant/Toddler Development, preferred Familiar with early childhood standards and benchmarks, preferred Knowledge of High Scope Curriculum, preferred Strong computer skills Willingness to accept and perform additional duties/responsibilities as assigned Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure student success and a positive caring environment A successful candidate will be able to: Assist in assessing Children's growth and development Have a positive and caring attitude Possess strong organizational and communication skills
