Summary

Creative Learning Place is seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher for a small Infant classroom. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center with a focus on infants.

Candidate must be a self-starter, have strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to work in a team environment.

Duties

As an Infant Teacher, your Responsibilities would include:

• Assessing the children's needs and development
• Preparing daily activities in order to assist the children in developing their fine/gross motor skills, as well as their cognitive development
• Supervise and interact with the Infants while in tummy time/playtime
• Sooth and nurture the infants in your care
• Communicating with the parents in a professional manner at all times
• Ensuring the safety of the children at all times
• Closely follow regulations related to child care
• Maintaining an organized and clean classroom
• Interacting with children in the classroom in order to help them reach their developmental milestones

Salary based upon experience and educational background.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a High School Diploma or higher
• Candidatemust havea minimum of 1 year of recent work experience in a licensed DSS childcare facility working with Infants
• Candidate must pass all background checks and meet State requirements
• Must be passionate about children and their well-being
• Must understand the importance of being patient dealing with young children
• Ability to fully engage in physical activity, including kneeling, stooping, squatting, and standing
