Position Overview: Full-day childcare teacher of 3- and 4-year-olds. The candidate will be responsible for all assigned lead teacher duties including the creation of a learner-centered environment, the implementation of designated Early Childhood curriculum, designing innovative hands-on activities with clear learning targets, assessment of student progress, management of the classroom, direction of classroom support staff, parent communication, and collaboration with other district staff.
Qualification Requirements: *Candidate must meet qualifications for a "Teacher" under Minnesota DCYF Rule 3 requirements for child care centers *First Aid and CPR certifications required within three months of hire *Previous experience teaching preschool and/or working with young children *Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills *Ability to build positive relationships with students that result in high levels of student engagement in learning *Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues *Firm belief and practice in positive behavior management *Ability to use current, effective early childhood instruction and authentic assessment methods *Exhibits a strong understanding of child development & knowledge of the ECIPs

$18.80-$25.40/hr (Depending on experience and qualifications).
