We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. This role requires creativity in lesson planning and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, including those with special education requirements or autism.
*Duties*
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
* Provide individualized tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.
* Assess and evaluate student progress through standardized testing and other assessment tools.
* Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and behavior.
* Mentor students in their academic journey, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse learning needs.
* Utilize Montessori methods or other innovative teaching strategies as appropriate.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
* Experience in early childhood education or working with children with autism is highly desirable.
* Strong skills in lesson planning, tutoring, and writing educational materials.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
* Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
* Experience in mentoring students and fostering their personal growth is a plus.
* Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and educational assessments.

Pay: $51,444.48 - $55,771.85 per year
