We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered Secondary Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators in providing high-quality instruction in a supportive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will hold or be eligible for Louisiana teacher certification and bring energy, creativity, and strong instructional practices to the classroom. Key Responsibilities Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans Promote a classroom culture of high expectations and mutual respect Utilize formative and summative assessments to inform instruction Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues Participate in school-wide professional development and initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain one through the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) Strong content knowledge in assigned subject area Effective classroom management and communication skills Commitment to student achievement and continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the secondary level (grades 9-12) Familiarity with Louisiana Student Standards and curriculum frameworks Proficiency in educational technology tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Edgenuity, Clever) Experience with data-driven instruction and MTSS/RTI practices Why Join Our Team?
