Salary: $18.00 - $22.00/hour Children's Aid Society is dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our team at the new Werner Early Learning Childcare Center and support our lead teachers in delivering high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts. Supervise students during class, recess, and other activities. Prepare materials and set up the classroom for lessons. Help maintain a clean, organized, and positive learning environment. Monitor student progress and communicate with the lead teacher about any concerns. Support students with special needs, ensuring inclusivity and engagement. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as needed. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Education or related field preferred. 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or similar is required.
At least 1250 hours of experience working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Spanish fluency is preferred. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with students. Willingness to be a constant role model and mentor to youth.
