Position Summary:
The Assistant Teacher supports Lead Teachers in delivering age-appropriate lessons and supervising children to ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Lead Teachers in preparing and delivering educational activities. Supervise and monitor children during classroom and outdoor activities. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom. Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions. Assist with documentation of children's progress and behavior. Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred. Experience working with young children is a plus. Patience, enthusiasm, and a caring attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
