Job Type Full-time Description SALARY: Starting Pay $16.00 Per Hour ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS:   In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, $140.00 Employee plus family. JOB SUMMARY: Works under the on-site supervision of a qualified teacher who is available at all times. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist in teaching the children in the classroom Being on time and present each day as scheduled to work Spends quality time in the classroom ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform other duties and projects as required by management MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION Must have one of the following: 1. High School diploma or GED equivalent2. Be currently enrolled in High School Must pass an OSBI background check Must have CPR and First Aid certification Must have a genuine love and concern for children Must be creative and have an aptitude for teaching and promoting child development Ability to stay calm in emergency situations Must have an even temperament PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Sitting or standing or walking for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking hearing, and visual acuity May require occasional lifting up to 50 lbs WORKING CONDITIONS : Child care environment Outside environment (hot weather and cold weather) Note : The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by an employee in this position.
