Summary

As a Preschool Teacher at Next Steps Learning Center, you will play a vital role in fostering the growth and development of young children in our care. This position is essential in creating an enriching learning environment that encourages exploration while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood learning. Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Observe and assess children's development to tailor educational activities accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards. Support children's social-emotional development through positive interactions. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with parents and team members. Experience working with children with special needs is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Passion for fostering children's growth in a supportive learning atmosphere.
