GEARS Kids Center is seeking Assistant Teachers to work with our our students ranging from 5 to 11 years of age. Seeking a candidate that holds at least one to two years of experience working in with children. Holding a CDA or Associates Degree is a plus or studying education in college. Candidate shall demonstrate knowledge of the development of children and can produce all necessary background clearances needed by the Department of Human Services. Compensation is commensurate to experience. Work hours are based on the needs of the center. Candidate's will complete various trainings before working in the field with the children.

GEARS Kids Center is a STAR 4 facility and is licensed by the Department of Human Services. GEARS Kids Center is also the recipient of the 2024 Pennsylvania Silver Equity Award from the Office of Early Child Development and Early Learning. GEARS Kids Center prides themselves on providing Professional Development and show appreciation for the scope of the work that our staff do each and everyday with our students and families. We also participate in Community events within the Elizabethtown Area. GEARS Kids Center is a non-profit organization and was created in 1984. We have a great partnership with the Elizabethtown Area School District.
