Location: APPLE Academy
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Between 7:20 AM – 5:45 PM (flexible hours required)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Nursery Teacher Assistant to join our team of early childhood professionals. In this role, you'll play a vital part in creating a warm, welcoming environment where our youngest learners—infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds—feel safe, nurtured, and inspired to explore the world around them. The ideal candidate is someone who is not only passionate about working with young children but also understands the importance of early learning foundations, classroom collaboration, and thoughtful care.
What You’ll Do:
Support lead teachers in supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
Engage infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds in age-appropriate, stimulating activities that support cognitive, emotional, and physical development
Build trusting, communicative relationships with families, offering updates and insights into their child’s growth and daily experiences
Maintain a clean, organized, and enriching classroom environment
Respond appropriately to the needs of children, including basic care and first aid as needed
Collaborate with teaching staff to support curriculum goals and classroom routines
Uphold all health, safety, and licensing standards
What We’re Looking For:
A genuine love for children and a nurturing, patient demeanor
Previous experience in a childcare or early education setting (preferred)
Familiarity with early childhood development principles and practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
First Aid/CPR certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
Dependable, flexible, and eager to grow within a supportive educational environment
