For Kids' Sake Early Learning Centers is seeking a caring and enthusiastic *Assistant Teacher* to join our team! As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with a Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children. You'll help guide their development through age-appropriate, culturally diverse activities that support all areas of growth—sensory, cognitive, emotional, physical, and social.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with infants and toddlers, values teamwork, and wants to make a lasting impact on children's lives.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Partner with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities * Support a safe, healthy, warm, and inviting learning environment * Help maintain accurate records for children in your care * Communicate effectively and professionally with families, children, and co-workers * Model caring, respectful, and responsible behavior at all times * Assist with daily routines, transitions, and care needs of infants and toddlers
*Requirements:*
* Must be *18 years or older* * *CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certification* (or willingness to obtain) * A genuine desire to work in an early childhood setting, with a commitment of at least one year * Willingness to meet Michigan Child Day Care Licensing educational requirements * Ability to follow the Lead Teacher's guidance in child development, parent communication, and conflict resolution * Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitude * Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to meet children's needs * Strong organizational and communication skills * Calm and effective crisis management abilities

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
