Summary

Boundless Childcare Preschool is now hiring a dynamic Assistant Teacher for our Four Year-old Classroom, working with children four years of age. The ideal candidate would have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, a positive and supportive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow. This position is at our Merit site in Decatur IN, serving children 2 1/2 year olds through age 8.

Duties

• Assist in planning and organizing activities consistent with the curriculum
• Assist in documenting children's growth and development
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Assist in creating and implementing a learning environment that is conducive to learning
• Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that all students are learning together
• Assist in communicating with families regularly to build partnerships and ensure the well-being of their children

Requirements

Experience/Education:

• Minimum High School Diploma/Equivalence
• experience working with children
• Passion for working with children
