We're seeking a compassionate and qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join our remote team, providing impactful instruction to K12 students across Alabama. This fully virtual role allows you to support student growth and successall from the comfort of your home. Your Role Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to DHH students via a secure online platform Work closely with general education teachers, families, and school staff to ensure each student thrives Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs Serve as a resource to staff on best practices for supporting DHH learners Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all special education guidelines What Youll Need A valid Alabama Professional Educator License (PEL) with a DHH endorsement Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or a related field Experience working with DHH students in an academic setting Comfort with digital learning tools and virtual instruction platforms Strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or cued speech Familiarity with assistive technology used in DHH education Experience with virtual teaching or remote therapy Interested in Joining Us?
