Summary
Seeking energetic, responsible, accountable individuals who love to work with young children to provide a safe and nurturing experience for our students during our school year and/or summer programs, potentially 12+/- hours per week. Apply to join our team of caring professionals in a growing licensed childcare center for preschool aged children.
Duties
Assistant Teachers must be able to perform the following general duties:
·Monitoring, supervising and providing personal aid and care as necessary to the students in the classroom, at snack, during bathroom breaks and recess, such as help with hygiene or toileting.
·Aid in teaching appropriate behavior and expectations of the school.
·Ensure students safety by complying with all school policies and procedures.
·Assist in enforcing school and classroom rules and routines.
·Assist the team with cleaning duties and closing procedures of the classroom in the afternoons.
- Respectfully communicate with parents and families at pick up.
Understand the hours are flexible, additional hours depending upon staff availability and needs of the center.
- Consistent attendance is considered an essential function of this position.
·Must be personable and friendly with students, staff and parents.
- Must be able to handle emergency situations, if they should arise, and remain calm to care for children.
Requirements
·CPR/First Aid Certified at your cost, will reimburse after 6 months consecutive employment with us.
·Must be 18 years or older.
·High school diploma or equivalent
·Must clear full fingerprint and background check through the state
·Continuing education trainings and other OEC required trainings done online
Nice To Haves
Early childhood education is a plus
Bilingual - English/Spanish is a plus

Grow Together Learning Center, LLC is a licensed child care center for pre-school aged children 3 to 5 years. We believe in learning through play and fostering curiosity at a young age. Our center is a safe, clean, nurturing and creative environment where children can thrive. We are open year round Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
