We are looking for someone energetic and passionate about working with kids to join the team as a School Age Teacher for our Aftercare Program at Irvington Elementary School in Irvington, KY for the 2025-2026 school year.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt PAY RATE: $15.00/hour

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES: Ensuring Compliance Help guarantee that our team and program follow OH regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the standards outlined by our host school.

Creating a Fun Environment Lead fun, interactive, and hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum this includes everything from fitness and STEAM to academics and art. Plus, you'll be the go-to guide for helping kids get their homework done right!

Managing Operations Handle critical administrative responsibilities like tracking attendance, maintaining registration logs, and coordinating staffing to ensure a smooth daily flow.

Clear Communication with Families Stay connected with parents and guardians using the Playground App to share updates and information about their childrens experiences.

Strong Teamwork Stay in regular contact with your direct supervisor, sharing daily updates and promptly reporting any issues. Together, we aim to deliver exceptional care, build a positive team culture, and address challenges head-on.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR: Youre at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma (or equivalent).

One year of experience working with kids under 13 is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker we value drive and passion!

CPR and First Aid certified? Thats a plus.

Medically cleared and free from communicable diseases, including TB.

Youre upbeat, personable, and easy to talk to kids, families, and coworkers all enjoy working with you. Youre also reliable, professional, and punctual.

Physically capable of bending, lifting, stretching, and carrying up to 50 lbs youre ready to stay active with the kids every day!
