Summary: As an After School Teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, you will collaborate professionally with other staff, parents, and outside vendors to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.

Ages: Kindergarten through Fifth Grade

Hours: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Culture: Positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school’s vision of excellence. Provides and maintains quality education programs. Ensures successful implementation of approved curriculum. Health & Safety: Prioritizes a safe, clean, and attractive camp environment. Maintains compliance with camp standards and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures. Engage, Inspire, Experience: Our counselors are committed to creating an unforgettable experience for campers while empowering them to embrace challenges and new opportunities with courage, confidence, and determination. Relationship Building: Have a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse staff and administrators. Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with the families, students, and community.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have an awarded High School Diploma or GED Often carrying and lifting 25 pounds or less (25-50%) and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds (10-25%). Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students.
