Position Summary:
The School of Teacher Education at the University ofNorthern Colorado invites applications for part-time supervisor positions as webuild our capacity to offer quality instruction to graduate students in ourMaster's degree with World Languages teacher licensure program. Part-timesupervisors hired will become vital members of the School's nationallyrecognized teacher preparation programs, committed to the preparation ofteachers teaching World Languages in K-12 setting. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of different programs.
Minimum Qualifications: BA degree in relevant and appropriate area is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include K-12 teaching experience inWorld Language (Mandarin Chinese strongly desired) setting, and/or supervisionexperience, demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in school settings,knowledge of teaching best practices in World Language education. We seekcandidates who can provide excellent classroom knowledge and a positive modelof leadership in K-12 World Language Education.
