Provide academic assistance to Native American students by referral of department staff, school personnel, Title VII staff, or parents. Assist with activities developed for referred students in re-teaching core concepts, study, homework, test taking skills/completion and any other services required for their successfully completion of formal schooling and community needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors in Education, NYS teaching certification preferred. At least 2 years experience with Native American students and knowledge of the SN community.
