Job Summary
Under the direction of the District's Chief Academic Officer and the immediate supervision of the Principal, the Intervention Teacher provides identified students with direct instructional support in reading/language arts and/or mathematics; promotes literacy across all content areas; utilizes District-approved core and supplemental instructional materials; implements evidenced-based instructional strategies; conducts frequent progress monitoring; communicates effectively with staff and parents; assesses and evaluates students' needs on an on-going basis; and restructures intervention groups based on students' needs.
