We are seeking a certified 5th-6th Grade STEM Teacher for a full-time position working with upper elementary students in the Philadelphia, PA area. This position will begin at the start of the - school year and continue through the academic year. Eligible candidates must be certified to teach in Pennsylvania and have up-to-date PA clearances. Qualifications:

Must have a valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification

Must have a Bachelors degree (at minimum) in Education or a related STEM field

Must have current, up-to-date clearances: FBI Fingerprints PA Criminal Background PA Child Abuse Act , Act 24

Mandated Reporter Training Responsibilities:

Designing and delivering engaging STEM lessons in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics aligned to Pennsylvania standards

Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and ensuring all students have access to rigorous content

Utilizing project-based learning, hands-on activities, and technology integration to enhance STEM learning

Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and families to foster academic growth and student success

Monitoring and assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments

Creating a classroom environment that supports inquiry, innovation, and a growth mindset

Participating in professional development and school-wide initiatives related to STEM and instructional best practices

Maintaining accurate records and consistent communication with parents/guardians regarding student achievement and behavior
