Salary: $54,000 (DOE)

We’re seeking a passionate and committed 5th Grade Teacher to join a mission-driven charter school in the Palmetto area. This role focuses on delivering dynamic, standards-based science instruction to grades 6–8 — sparking curiosity and preparing students for academic success.
What You’ll Do
- Teach engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Design lesson plans and hands-on lab experiences to deepen understanding
- Assess learning through tests, projects, and classwork
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school events and training
- Maintain a structured, respectful, and safe classroom
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid middle school science teaching certification
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
