Location: Hawthorne Elementary School 2025-26 Salary Range: $51,852-$71,705 ; or current placement on salary schedule. Benefits available. This is a one-year certified position.

Description: 3rd Grade Teaching Position at Hawthorne Elementary School Applicants must be dynamic, student-centered teachers with leadership qualities. Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring all students succeed at their highest level. Should have knowledge of and experience with differentiated teaching methods and Common Core standards. Demonstrates commitment to partnerships with families and our community. Commitment to teaching and learning that occurs beyond the classroom through professional learning communities. Willing to dedicate time and energy to building a school community that has the District Long Range Plan and a culture of learning supported by raising healthy children at its core.

Job Summary: Perform all of the duties of an elementary teacher including teaching the common core state standards, maintaining and analyzing assessment data to inform teaching, collaborating with team members, facilitating a partnership with parents and community organizations and adding to the culture of the school as a learning community. Must be committed to using best practices to enhance student learning, including use of data, collaboration, and flexible grouping.

Qualifications: Demonstrated successful teaching experience bringing all students to their highest achievement levels. Demonstrated successful collaboration with team members to create a learning community. Montana Elementary Teacher certification, or ability to be certified by the start of the 2025-2026 school year. Requires endorsement code 00E ELE.
