A full-time 3rd Grade General Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school in Chicago, IL. This contract role offers a chance to lead a 3rd grade classroom for the current school year, working 35 hours per week. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective instruction to 3rd grade students in general education classrooms. Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities. Qualifications: Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL). Illinois State Certification as an Elementary Teacher. Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Elementary Education or a related field applicable to the teaching assignment. A Masters degree in a related area is preferred.
